WinnAero sent us a number of lovely thank you notes from some of the students that attended camp this summer thanks to the scholarship money that the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction provided this year. We had the pleasure of visiting while camp was in action and observed so much learning taking place!
The purpose of the Academy is to make students aware of the variety of careers available in the aerospace industry. These activities can only be made possible with strong support and encouragement from the aerospace community throughout New Hampshire.
Dear Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction,
Thank you very much for the scholarship to Ace Academy this year. This was my 4th year attending the academy. I really enjoyed going to Nashua to see helicopters be turned into drones. Thank you for giving me a scholarship to go to Ace.
Sincerely,
Connor H.

My name is Abigail. This was my first time attending ACE Academy.
My favorite part of ACE Academy was flying the O flight plane. I also loved flying the flight simulator. I also loved the Black Hawk it was very fun to ride in. I learned a lot this year. I cannot wait for next year.
Thank you,
Abigail B. (8)

Thank you for donating to ACE Academy! I went there this summer and had so many highlights of the week I can't share them all in this email. I really liked to look around the Black Hawk and the chance to fly in it. It was very loud but it was so cool you almost didn't hear the blades. All of the teachers were very nice and I liked that the lessons were so fun and engaging. I also really liked the field trip that we went on to the children's museum in Dover. I love ACE Academy and can't wait to go next year!
Thank You,
Wesley B. (10)

Thank you for supporting Ace Academy and making it another great year. Out of all the years that I have gone to ace academy this was by far the best year, because we got to go on a lot of fun field trips along with getting a ride in the black hawk the o flights and model rocketry. it was also amazing because we were able to use a hanger for our classroom and got to see all the different planes go by and every now and then a helicopter. I hope next year is just as good if not better.
Sincerely,
Logan B.

Good Afternoon Jennifer and the Greater Lakes Region Children's Fund,
My 12 year-old son, Edward, was fortunate enough to attend the Aerospace program at ACE Academy for a week this year in July. While he has many career interests, aerospace engineering has been the most persistent as he grows. He went to camp each day enthused and came home every night excited to share all of his activities and dreamt of his future.
After the last day, he said, "Thank you, mom. This week has really helped me know more about what I want to do when I am older. The time to make some decisions about that is going to come sooner than you think!". Over the past week, he's told everyone he sees about it and is just thirsty to continue learning.

Thank you for your sponsorship of such an enriching program and helping to make it affordable and accessible to the community. It means the world to our son and our family.
Sincerely,
Britni L.

My family would like to thank you and the Children's Scholarship fund for giving my son, Landon, an amazing summer camp experience. We greatly appreciate your scholarship for Landon to go to this camp. My son went to WinnAero Academy at Laconia Airport for the first time. He is 8 year old and full of life and so excited to learn and experience new adventures. This camp allowed him to learn parts of an airplane, the Nato Alphabet, different careers, and how to build a paper airplane. He experienced a ride in the National Guard helicopter, and was able to log flight hours in his "O" flight. He went on a field trip and was able to learn through technology how to use a flight simulator. Lastly, the teachers and directors of this camp were remarkable. Please consider providing this camp with more scholarship money in the future years so other children can have the opportunity that my son did.
Thank you,
Amber and Landon M.

Please see the attached thank you letter from Matthias, an attendee at WinnAero's ACE Academy this past week. He thoroughly enjoyed himself. Our boys look forward to going each year, they always have an incredible time. I too thank you for your work with the auction and for organizing such donations.
Sincerely,
Kristen E.
