Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction Raises Over $28,000 Through 2025 Christmas in July Event on The Mount Washington

"Who says Christmas magic is reserved for December? This July, the Greater Lakes Region Children's Auction brought the holiday cheer early with our festive Christmas in July event! With a gorgeous three-hour cruise, great food, a fun auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a community full of giving hearts, we raised an incredible $28,000 to support local children and families in need.

Leaders of the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction are brimming with gratitude for the overwhelming support received during this annual boat event aboard the M/S Mount Washington. Thanks to the generosity of our presenting sponsor Juggernaut Fitness, and our Santa Sponsors Ideal Block, The Xavier Group, Franklin Savings Bank, Amoskeag Beverages, the event was a true midsummer celebration of giving. We also had generous donations from Captain Smitty, celebrating 40 years with the M/S Mount Washington, and Joyce Janitorial Services, both contributing $1,000 each during the event! Highlights included a buffet dinner, an online auction, and enchanting tunes from Powerhouse Theatre Collaborative, which serenaded guests as they boarded.

Special thanks to Jared Maraio, General Manager of the M/S Mount Washington, for matching ticket sales and added even more ensuring 300 local children from the nonprofits we fund will enjoy a free ride on August 6.
