TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following are the terms and conditions that are in place to protect you (the donor/high bidder) and the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction from possible fraudulent activity. You will need to be aware of and accept these conditions prior to making a donation/payment on the website. If you choose not accept them, please do not use the donation/payment facility of the website and consider donating by check.
These Terms and Conditions apply separately to each single donation/payment that you make. By confirming on the website that you wish to make a donation you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions for that donation.
Once you confirm to us through the website that you wish to proceed with your donation your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider, Authorize.net. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation you authorize Authorize.net to request funds from your credit or debit card provider. Authorize.net will only process your donation in US dollars.
Definitions
Donation - The donation/payment for item made by the donator.
Donor - The person, firm or company who intends to make or has made a donation/payment to the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction.
Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction - Meadowbrook Charitable Foundation dba Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction is a non-profit organization registered with the state of New Hampshire, USA.
LRCA Website Team - People directly involved with the operation and functioning of the website.
The Site - The website and content at childrensauction.com.
We - The word 'we' used on this website refers to the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction.
Website - The website of the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction https://www.childrensauction.org
You - Generous person who is donating/paying for your item.
Tax Exemption
The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction has tax exempt status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America (US). The Tax ID is #47-3815882. Donations made in US Dollars by US tax payers are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
General
Age: You warrant that you are over 18 years of age. If you are not, please have a parent or guardian who is over 18 make the donation for you.
Any loss incurred to you: We will do all we reasonably can to protect this site and all internet communications passing between us and you, but we cannot be held responsible for:
a) any losses fairly attributable to your failure to take reasonable precautions to prevent interception of, or interference with, any such communications (including, without limitations) failure to use and keep up to date firewalls and anti-virus software on your own computer; or
b) any losses arising from fraudulent or unauthorized use of your credit or debit card or other forms of payment. If you become aware of fraudulent use or your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you should notify your card issuer.
Your computer: You are responsible for ensuring that your computer system meets all relevant technical specifications necessary to use our Site and is compatible with our Site.
Use of a card: By making this donation/payment you warrant that the mechanism that you use, credit card or otherwise, is owned by you or you have permission to use it.
Liability
The liability for loss of any amount or an issue with regards to transfer of funds will lie with you.
If you have a problem with your donation the GLRCA Website Team will try our best to help, but we take no responsibility to rectify the problem or retrieve any amount lost in the transfer of funds.
Information from you
Before we can process a donation you must provide us with (i) your name, address and email address; and (ii) details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to fund the donation. We will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information.
When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider, Authorize.net, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. You should make sure that you are aware of Authorize.net terms and conditions, which are different from our own, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data before you make a donation.
We won't share your personal details with any other third party other than what is outlined within our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Donation Payment Terms and Conditions and by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you are also agreeing to the way we use and protect your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
Refunds
All donations are final. If you make an error in your donation, please contact us either by email at info@childrensauction.com, by phone at (603) 527-0999, within 7 days and a full refund will be made to you.
Use of Donations
Your donation will only be used to further the mission of the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction.
General
We reserve the right to amend these Donation Payment Terms and Conditions at any time.
