The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction is excited to welcome Joyce Janitorial this year as a corporate sponsor after many years of the family business being involved with the Auction. Second generation employee, Tyler Morrissette, remembers visiting the Children’s Auction television set as early as four years old. He recalls the family would hold a fundraiser with neighbors and friends at The Christmas Island restaurant every year and would bring the proceeds to donate. Tyler remembers sitting on the couch with Ed Darling while his father presented the Auction with a check. Decades later, the Morrissette family still has a focus on community and giving back.
Joyce Janitorial serves mostly commercial customers and benefits from happy customers spreading the word to bring them new accounts. Businesses rely on Joyce Janitorial to make a positive presentation for them and the Joyce Janitorial staff work hard to retain that trust. Not just a Lakes Region company, Tyler says customers stretch from North Conway to Epsom.
Tyler says the family business finds it very satisfying to be involved in making the community a better place for all, especially those who need some support. He’s impressed by the way Lakes Region businesses step up every year to be part of something bigger than themselves and thinks part of the appeal is that the money stays locally. He points out the impact of a corporate sponsorship can be seen in the work of over 80 local nonprofits which are helping families navigate difficult times.
It's the kind of community support unseen in other parts of the state and Joyce Janitorial is proud to be a part of it.
The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction thanks Joyce Janitorial for their support.
