In the weeks leading up the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction (and during Auction week), Lakes Region Public Access Television (LRPA) has run promotional videos that highlight GLRCA recipient organizations.
If you have a short (2 minute) video that promotes the work of your organization, or if your parent organization has a video on YouTube or another website, we’d be happy to run it for you. If your organization has an updated video that is already posted on a site such as YouTube or Vimeo (or even a company website), please send the link to Grace McNamara, Station Manager, at director@lrpa.org and copy me at Jenn@ChildrensAuction.com! Please specify the organization’s name in the subject line.
If an organization is shooting a new video using a smartphone or tablet, please do the following:
Hold the device horizontally (not vertically!) in your hand or use a tripod
Don’t use the digital zoom function on your device
Shoot in a setting with good light and avoid too much backlight behind your subject(s)
Speak clearly and enunciate
Send the finished video to LRPA’s Dropbox
