A few words from Kim and why she is a part of the Auction this year!
I'm Kim, your friendly neighborhood chandler and the owner of Ol' Factory Soy Candles out of Gilford NH. My family has been hand pouring your favorite candles since 2008.
2020 has certainly been an uncertain and scary whirlwind for many small biz owners. I know I was uncertain of Ol' Factory's future. But, the community showed such amazing support by asking if candles could be delivered or if we offered curbside pickup. So, we started to deliver candles not only in the Lakes Region but all over the state! You may have seen our "green machine" van out and about, lol.
This community kept my little candle business alive and I'll be forever grateful for the support shown. I'd like to "pay it forward" and thought The Children's Auction would be a wonderful way to do so.
